Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has lovely rooms complete with a pulpit harking back to the original use of the building, but some rooms facing the car and coach parking can be noisy. The service was lovely and helpful, although it seemed busy at times. The location is unbeatable with amazing views directly across from old town, though parking can be a challenge. Dining was a mix of excellent variety and disappointing pre-packed items. The facilities are well-maintained.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were quite large with a big comfy bed and decorated in a medieval style, equipped with an excellent bathroom; however, they did smell terribly of cigarettes, which was a downside. I would recommend specifying a non-smoking room. The service was mostly excellent, with very helpful and friendly staff; however, there were some moments where they seemed a little off. The location offered amazing views across the gorge at the beautiful historic center of Cuenca, but it was far from the center, making it necessary to drive a car or take a bus to reach key areas. The dining experience was top-notch with plenty of delicious options, making it a memorable culinary journey. The hotel facilities were decent, catering to basic needs effectively.
The hotel offers stunning rooms with beautiful antique beds and closets in a great location across a foot bridge from the city center. The service is fantastic, with swift arrangements and excellent parking facilities. The dining experience could be improved with a better variety, but the location is fabulous, especially if you opt for rooms with views of the bridge and houses.
The hotel is situated in a stunning location with direct views of the Casas Colgadas and the valley, offering an okay experience but not exceptional enough to justify the high price. The room was spacious with an excessive view, and the service was accommodating throughout our stay. The historical building is absolutely beautiful and provides amazing views of the hanging houses and the old town, but some reorganization may be needed. The dining experience in what seemed like the original monks' refectory was lovely, although limited, resembling that of another Parador. The hotel offers unique facilities and additional details that enhance the stay.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms started nice and cool during the day but became uncomfortably warm at night. On the bright side, they are beautifully located with stunning views and a lovely medieval decor. The bathroom was excellent. The service was a bit curt at times, but they quickly arranged an extra bed for my grandson and provided great parking. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the old town and offering amazing views. The dining experience, although with excellent food variety, could have been more organized. Overall, a place with potential that needs some tweaks.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel with wonderful views of the hanging houses and the river from my room. The only downside was the smell of cigarettes, so I would recommend requesting a non-smoking room. The service was excellent, especially during check-in and checkout, although some staff members seemed a bit disinterested. The location was perfect, just across the bridge to the Old Town, offering breathtaking views of Cuenca. The dining experience was great with a diverse selection of delicious food. The facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable.
